Dandelion root has been used for years in traditional Chinese medicine for a variety of ailments including stomach issues and increasing milk flow for nursing mothers. The root of dandelion is sometimes used as a mild laxative and for improving digestion. This amazing herbs has also shown to lower blood sugar, and to have anti-inflammatory benefits.
Brewing Instructions: Add 1 tsp. to 8 oz. of boiling water. We recommend herbal root teas to be steeped for 5 to 7 minutes in boiling water. For the best flavor, use fresh water whenever possible, and avoid overboiling. If you want a stronger brew, just use more tea. And don’t forget to re-steep your tea leaves to get the most out of your leaf! Tea amounts can be adjusted if you need it a little stronger or a bit lighter.
