How to prepare:
Rinse & Clean Sea Moss thoroughly at least 3 times, making sure you washing away any salt, sand, and debris from the sea and then soak using one of the following methods:
USING THE COLD WATER METHOD: Soak in purified water between 6-36 hrs, until soft, slippery and slimy. Next, rinse again, then add to blender with water in a ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss to 1.5-2 cups of distilled/purified water. If too thick, add more water along the way as needed. Blend until smooth and creamy. If not soft after soaking your consistency is not soft, slimy, slippery (or to speed up the process), use heat method. Refrigerate or freeze immediately after preparation.
USING THE WARM/HOT WATER METHOD (for quicker results): Soak in cool water for 30-60 minutes. Rinse again, then add to pot and cover with hot water. Allow to sit for 5 minutes then remove from heat. Allow to sit for an additional 5 minutes. Do not discard water. Add with water in a ratio of 1 cup of Sea Moss to 1 1/4 cups of distilled/purified water. Blend until smooth and creamy. If too thick to blend add more water.
Full 2 oz. bag of sea moss makes up to 24 - 32 oz. of gel. (packaged bag style & color may vary)
